ChaletOur Chalet has been traditionally built by a local builder using Larch for most of the construction. Larch is indigenous to this area. In keeping with local custom, the exterior has not been treated or varnished at all, and in time it will go dark brown. The inside too has not been treated, but will only become a little darker than it is now because it is not exposed to the weather, the sunlight and extremes of temperature as much. The Chalet is on a small complex of 40 chalets in total, and the final ones are now nearing completion. The complex will also benefit from a swimming pool as well, and this too is almost finished.

The Chalet comes fully equipped and includes the following :-

Downstairs

  1. Entrance Hall
  2. Boot Room with boot drier rack and ski rack
  3. Downstairs Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, washing machine and tumble drier.
The Shower room also has under floor heating which can be used if you wish. Please note though that this is expensive to run, so please take care how you use it and please make sure it is switched off when you leave the Chalet.

  3. Feature gas fire supplying the heating for the whole chalet – it is well insulated!
  4. Seating Area with satellite TV and DVD with surround sound. The settee does convert into a bed settee if required.
  5. Door leading into newly built conservatory, to allow the adults to escape!

  2. 1 Bedroom with 1 single bed – which has a pullout bed underneath – converting into a double bed, with plenty of wardrobe and shelf space and frost radiator
  3. Private owners storage room
  4. Upstairs Bathroom with bath and shower attachment, toilet and sink. The Bathroom also has under floor heating which can be used if you wish. Please note though that this is expensive to run, so please take care how you use it and please make sure it is switched off when you leave the Chalet.

The chalet is connected to all mains supplies – gas, water and electricity, and normal use of these services is included within the rental price.

Outside, the chalet has parking for 2 cars, giving plenty of room for our visitors to park their cars. There is also a shed attached to side of the chalet, containing garden furniture, BBQ and 2 adult bicycles. The key for the shed is in the drawer to the left of the hob, in the kitchen
