In Predlitz - Gasthof Steinerwirt – opposite the turning to Turracher Hoehe, offering a range of food at reasonable prices. Phone +43 3534 8222

In the small hamlet of Bodendorf on the main road from Stadl to Kreischberg, is the Gasthaus Winter, the oldest restaurant in Styria, offering traditional food at reasonable prices. Phone +43 3537 2300

Murau

Also on the way in to Murau – Hallenbad Stuberl at the indoor swimming pool offers good quality international cuisine at reasonable prices. Very friendly placeMurau.

Both Murau and Tamsweg have larger supermarkets, budget stores and larger shops to while away the time – if you have any! For those of you who are in desperate need of retail therapy there are 3 shopping centres nearby - Shopping City Seiersberg in Graz, (1 hour 30 minutes away), at Sudpark in Klagenfurt (1 hour 20 minutes away) and at Arena Shopping Mall in Fohnsdorf near Judenburg (50 minutes away).
